Had a time trial today for practice, ran an easy 2 mile warm-up, then we had the time trial mile, which I ran at a 5:09, which is pretty good considering my lack of speed work, then we finished with a mile cool-down on the turf without our shoes. |

| Ran down Washington Fields Road, turned on the Dam road, and followed it up until I hit the huge dirt hill, ran up it, then turned around and ran back for 7.5 miles.

| ran 6.5 miles on a trail run today, and my hip/gluteus started hurting around mile 3. went home iced, and rolled it, and we'll see how things turn out. |

my hip/gluteus hurt even more today, but i was able to tough out 4 miles with the team today, with more icing and rolling and stretching afterward. |

| Ran the Dogtown 5K today, and took second with a time of 18:43. I wasn't pushing hard, but I still can't believe how slow that sounds compared to my usual times. Lost to Brigham, who took 1st, congrats to him. |
